Grading criteria:

• Master: Straight, very regular and tight grained, uniform color

• AAAA: Straight, tight grained, not as regular as Master, uniform color

• AAA: Tight grained, tending to somewhat more open grain spacing on the outer edge, slight color variation possible (winter growth)

• AA: Less tight to more open grain spacing, slight color variation and/or curved or wavy grain possible 
  

• A: Wider grain spacing, slight color variation and/or curved or wavy grain possible

• AB: Suitable for test models

• Attention : Tops with bear claw could have wider grain spacing!
